Youzhi Zhang is an undergraduate intern in the laboratory and majors in Biomedical Engineering in a joint program between Northeastern University in China and the University of Dundee in Scotland. He has strong academic performance and ranks among the top students in overall performance.
During his undergraduate studies, his research interests have centered on medical image processing, medical big data processing, and multimodal medical data analysis.
His research in the laboratory focuses on processing and analyzing light-sheet microscopy imaging data, modeling and analysis of spatial omics data, and applying deep learning to light-sheet microscopy imaging data.
